The NTS ULTRAPURE Zero Air Generator is designed to supply ultrapure hydrocarbon free zero air for GC-FID applications. Catalytic oxidation technology eliminates hydrocarbons to <0.1ppm resulting in a flat and stable baseline, increased sensitivity and repeatable analysis. For more demanding applications such as TOC, Continuous Emissions Monitoring and process control applications the GT Zero Air Generator removes CO, CO2, NOX, SOX and water vapor.
NTS Ultra Zero Air generators use 5 steps to transform ambient air into analytical grade air.
STEP 1: PRE-FILTRATION - high efficiency filter removes any particles or aerosols - oil, water and any other particles larger than 5microns in size. The filter has an automatic drain system.
STEP 2. DRYING & TRAPPING. The self-regenerative PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) drying module removers water vapor and CO2.
STEP 3. NOx, SOx, O3. A unique specifically designed scrubber removes NOx, SOx and Ozone. STEP 4: HC& CO TRAPPING-Pure air enters a high-temperature platinum catalyser, which through oxidation eliminates all hydrocarbon molecules down to <0,1 ppm and CO.
STEP 5: FINAL FILTRATION - A high-efficiency polishing filter is used to ensure the exit zero air
is free from all particulates.
